Project Description

The project site Arno River was the gate to Pisa, and the Cittadell park was a ship storage. It went through the

decline of the historical culture and social activities.

The site faced two main questions: 1. re-arrange the site, 2. create a monumental bridge. It has the aim of bringing

back the historical status of the site, serving both local and tourist enhance the existing heritage.

Layers of time, Pisa waterfront design respects history, and shows the past, present and future. Naturally invites

people to the site, let them experience and explore the gradual change of Pisa.
